The lines integrate infeed, distribution, weighing and packaging into a single automated process. From bulk product handling to the finished pack, each solution is configured according to the characteristics of the product and the requirements of the plant.
Weighing and packaging in a single process
Conveying systems feed the multihead weighers, which dose the product and transfer it to the vertical packaging machines. Lines can integrate multiple machines and support parallel production flows.
Pack formats and automation for different needs
The solutions can produce a range of flexible packs, from pillow bags to block-bottom bags and Steelo-Bags. Depending on the project, they can integrate ZIP closing systems, automatic reel change, secondary multipack packaging and robotic devices that place gadgets directly into the bags.
Production continuity and gentle product handling
In lines with several packaging machines, automatic distribution can be adjusted to match operating conditions: if one machine stops temporarily, the product is redistributed to the active ones, which increase their speed to make up part of the lost capacity. Dedicated systems can also control product drop and extract crumbs during handling.
Solutions suited to the production environment
Each line also takes the plant conditions into account. For the dairy sector, stainless steel construction based on the Hygienic Design Wash Down concept allows frequent cleaning with water jets. In dusty environments, electrical cabinet protection can include cooling, dehumidification and pressurisation. Grated cheese, baked snacks and mini croissants are examples of how weighing, vertical packaging and automation can be combined to meet different production needs.
