The PFM AZIMUTH EVO is a full-servo vertical form fill seal machine designed to manage film behaviour as a critical factor in packaging performance. Unlike traditional intermittent systems, it operates with continuous film unwinding, maintaining constant speed and eliminating stress caused by acceleration and deceleration. An electronically controlled dancing roller system continuously reads film tension, calculates the required bag length and feeds the exact amount of material at each cycle. This reduces friction on the forming collar, improves alignment and enables higher wrapping speeds.
