The SPS-CAMA experience in the bakery sector, with a wide range of installed solutions, has once more created a customised system to satisfy the requirements of a leading European biscuits manufacturer.
The customer, appreciating the optimal quality-price ratio and the technological advantages offered by SPS-CAMA, purchased an automatic packaging line for "petit beurre"-type biscuits on edge.
The line is composed of a patented volumetric portioning loader, of a high speed feeding system into the chain of the flow-wrapping machine (up to 200/minute) and of a flow-wrapping machine for products on edge.
The flow-wrapped products, arriving on single lane at 140/minute, are collated and loaded into an intermittent-continuous motion horizontal electronic cartoning machine with an output up to 90 cartons/minute.
High production speed, flexibility and limited footprint are some of the advantages offered by the CAMA cartoning machine.
