Packaging Machinery for Chips
PFM faces with success the world of weighing and wrapping of chips.
It is important to have a deep knowledge in the behavior and the characteristic of the chips to “harmonize” a wrapping line.
The delicacy and lightness of the product, the salt, the tendency to block the discharge channels, the suspended particles, the residues left over at the passage, these are elements having all specific solutions that, if properly applied, allow the wrapping line to operate at 100% efficiency.
PFM knows this, knows the sector, has experience and proper solutions.
A typical line includes the multihead weigher 14-head SM 14 XM, with bucket opening through Stepper motors, and the vertical wrapping machine AZIMUT 400.
In addition to these units there are series of devices, accessories and technical solutions, specifically studied for the sector.
From 50gr up to 500gr the line is studied in every detail to assure the best performance and above all an average line productivity close to 100%. What is really important is the average production rate that should be kept as high as possible by removing any cause of unexpected stops. Here is the experience achieved with the most important Italian and European producers that gives shape to a highly efficient plant that guarantees a very high average production capacity.
The PFM Teleservice system allows the operator never to be alone. On request, it is possible, by means of an Ethernet card, to connect the weigher and wrapper to the MBP SERVICE CENTE. It is therefore possible to support the operator during the machine setting or quickly identify the possible trouble and order the spare parts. It is possible to download software updates or remotely control the production data and/or recipes, production statistics and print data through a PC that includes Internet Explorer and is connected to the net.
