The outcome at Interpack exhibition in Düsseldorf has been excellent for the PFM Group.

The Visitors presence at the company stand in Hall 7a has been a reason of great pride for the Group Management: "We are really satisfied with the results achieved at this important meeting: the two SPS lines for biscuits and snacks, together with the new vertical form fill & seal wrapper Comet and the horizontal pillow pack wrapper Scirocco Super Long Dwell have been the most appreciated machines by the customers" stated Mr. Andrea Fioravanti, the PFM sales director.

The stand, very seductive not only for the highly technological systems exhibited but also for the original set designing, assembled together all 7 companies of the Industrial Group, involving the interest of operators coming from all flexible packaging sectors.

SPS Italiana Pack System (PFM Group), has definitely asserted itself among the leading companies for the supply of wrapping lines of bars, layer cakes, Swiss roll and biscuits on pile and on-edge.

The innovative "Scirocco Super Long Dwell" too has given raise to great interest and admiration: it can wrap in modified atmosphere up to 200 ppm with the guarantee of absolutely hermetic/leak-proof seals. The new "Super Long Dwell" sealing system equipped with only one-up crimper allows for an exceptional format changeover flexibility besides the extraordinary sealing speed. This is a really innovative element of this machine that has been recently redesigned and improved in order to make the operations of cleaning and sanitizing even easier. Moreover, the new Scirocco was shown complete with a pick and place robot complete with a camera for identifying the products arriving at random and placing them onto the infeed conveyor of the wrapper.

The other success for the PFM Group at Interpack has been the "Comet High Speed", a vertical wrapper with the same sealing system as the Scirocco, the "Super Long Dwell", but adapted to the vertical wrapper to achieve up to 180bpm. Compact, protected from the external environment, full servo, it can be supplied with various accessories and teleservice system, the Comet made a deep impression for its exceptional technological qualities and the extreme accuracy of the constructive components. The machine, combined with the new multihead weigher "MBP 14-head XM STEP IP 65 High Speed", can produce up to 145 bpm of sweets. "The innovative level presented at Interpack 2005" - Andrea Fioravanti concludes - "is the result of a business policy directed to the specialization and valorisation of each single company of our Group and to our will to encourage the synergies between the Design and Production Departments situated in the different premises."

Only by investing huge resources for innovation, research and development, it will be possible to achieve satisfactory results and Interpack has been for PFM Group a good occasion to receive positive remarks from the very large number of visitors.
