Those visitors with an interest in Multihead weighers were enthusiastic when seeing the new MBP SM10-XM IP65 Step.

This new multihead weigher was shown inside a stainless steel tank so that its IP65 rated water resistance could be demonstrated with water jets.

The weigher is divided into sections with their own mechanical and electronic components. Each section is removable and interchangeable with quick disconnect plugs. Particular attention has been given to on line interrogation via a modem.

The software within the weigher can interface with a normal PC via an Ethernet network connection and can password protected. The new series of MBP multihead weighers are at the forefront of technology and safety and are equipped with step motors to open and close the feeding buckets.

The new operating software offers high precision weighing and control and is equipped with anti-vibration filters to prevent interference.

The characteristics are:

- Frame in anticorrosive alloy projected and optimised to absorb and remove any environmental vibrations.

- Weigher divided into sectors complete with step motors and electronics. Each sector is extractable, interchangeable and equipped with electric connection type "PIN" homing.

- Vibrating plates, feeding buckets, chutes and base realized in stainless steel AISI 304.

- Frame with IP65 protection. Therefore it is possible the direct wash by water jet.

- Control panel type colour touch screen IP 65.

- Programming systems particularly simple and intuitive.

- Teleservice system by modem or ethernet.

- PC software in windows environment to check production data, create programs, modify production parameters and connect to the MBP assistance department for possible teleassistance. This up to 30 weighers.

- Production up to 80 weighing/minute (10-head version).
