The exhibition Ipack-Ima 2003 closed with a positive result for PFM on the whole.
There has been a good affluence to the PFM stand despite the uncertainty of the period. Approval by PFM and MBP's clients for the new MBP course since it became part of the PFM group the last year. A complete range of weighers from 8 to 24 heads. Technologically advanced hardware and software. Simple and efficient programming systems supplemented with the MBP Teleservice representing an important assurance for the client.
The BG 2800 flow pack machine by BG Pack, an horizontal wrapper applying the zip longitudinally, has also had its own success. This machine is suitable for the cheese sector but not only. It is suitable also for wrapping all food products to be eaten at different moments and needing a reclosable pack.
Some sale contracts for the vertical wrapper MBP CTC 400 Steelo Pack were concluded during the exhibition. The machine produces square bottom packs with seals on the 4 vertical edges. A simple machine allowing quick format changes and realizing aesthetically perfect packs also with thin films.
It has been a great success also for the vertical wrapper Vetta by BG Pack. Vetta has made an impression on the visitors for its high operative flexibility. In fact, it can make up to 20 types of different packs. From the classical 3-seal pack to the reclosable Pocket Bag pack. It may apply the zip even on a 4-seal square bottom bag as the Steelo Pack.
A positive welcome also for the flow pack Shamal with Long Dwell sealing system to realize hermetic 3-seal packs. Its versatility has been particularly appreciated. In fact, Shamal is complete with an LVA system that adjusts in continuous the pack length according to the product length. The same machine can also work with films with registered print and therefore with products of fixed length. It can wrap max. 200 mm. high products but even products thin as a newspaper. The programming of parameters is intuitive and takes place through a touch screen.
